The Aruba Art Fair has launched a Micro Art Fair creating educational awareness and promoting local art. The fair consists of a three day fair with a variety of artistic expressions such as dance, poetry, theatre, contemporary art, fashion, music, and culinary arts. Join our One Happy Artsie Island and experience the rich culture Aruba has to offer.

This year on August 19, 20 and 21 the eighth Aruba International Regatta will take place. Three days of action and competition for yachts, beach cats, sunfishes, optimists, wind- and kitesurfers and microboats; three days of music and parties for all participants and spectators. The sailors will compete for the overall trophy for the winner in the most competitive class.

Yoga with a purpose is regularly practiced at Manchebo Beach Resort. The resort recently organized a donation-based yoga class to help those who are visually impaired. Lynet Vink, Vinyasa Yoga Instructor from Stoked About Yoga, cooperated with this event. The resort is deeply rooted in community and social endeavors, hosts events and participates in community programs. Guests and non-guests of the resort are welcome to get involved.

As we continue with Aloe Wellness month, the fun goes on with a 30-minute experience where participants will be invited to smell, taste, and feel the raw ingredients of Aloe Vera as they learn about their wellness benefits for an interactive sensory experience. There will also be an educational art tour outlining the importance of Aloe Vera in Aruba, and a chance to make your own body scrub!

The Challenge family has announced that they will be adding a race to the Caribbean island of Aruba and this will take place on October 23rd, 2016. For Canadians, this will not only mean a great late season race in beautiful Aruba, but also less travel time from some regions. The race offers a route full of speed, variety and quality.

VisitAruba recently had an interview with Aruban producer/director Rebecca Roos, who is also the Industry Events Director for the Aruba International Film Festival. "This year we really had a very strong festival, with over several hundred submissions."

In a stunning final, after four days of playing poker in the Aruba Hilton Resort, Vincent Fiorenza took the lead and began the 2015 PPC Aruba World Championship Main Event Champion. It's Vincent's first time on Aruba, but he had a lot of fun and will definitely be back next year.

The VisitAruba Halloween Creative Pumpkin Contest ended on November 3rd midnight (EST). VisitAruba is proud to announce the winner of this campaign. 

The 2015 PPC Aruba World Championship will be held at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino from November 1st to November 8th. This 11 event series will feature over 200 players and a $1,700 buy-in, $250,000 guarantee Main Event.

Before its final day of screenings, the Aruba International Film Festival held their award ceremony at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino. The jury, which presented the awards to the winners, was lead by the Oscar nominee Virginia Madsen and noted film journalist Kevin Lally.

VisitAruba is organizing the 2015 VisitAruba.com Halloween Creative Pumpkin Contest. The Creative Pumpkin Contest will run from Monday October 19th till October 31st midnight (EST) .

One of Aruba’s longest running festivals featured headliners such as the Earth Wind & Fire Experience, Grupo Niche and Jessy J. On the last weekend of September, many jazz lovers enjoyed one of the island’s coziest festivals with local food courts, an art fair, and an overall great ambiance.
