Kicking Off Aruba’s 2018 Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival!

The event organizers of CSJF 2018 are preparing the final details of the amazing annual production.

Festivities started during yesterday’s press conference held at the Renaissance Convention Center. Organizer Erik Eman welcomed all of the local and international press & media attendees.

Joining him on stage was Spike, singer of Di-Rect, a group especially popular in The Netherlands who have quite the following in Aruba.

Furthermore, branding partners of CSJF were also present on stage, including Tita Iglesias of Aruba Tourism Authority, Rowald Werleman of Tropical Bottling Company and Zugheila Lindenborg of Renaissance Aruba Resort.

The official kickoff of the festival begins on Friday, September 21, 2018 with impressive artists such as renowned Colombian musician and singer, Jorge Celedon , the all-female band from Cuba, Anacaona, and ultimate soul and jazz flutist, Althea Rene. As for local artists, Havana Vieja All Stars will be representing Aruba for Fridays’s jazzy affair.

We are happy to announce that Kathy Sledge, of the famous band Sister Sledge will be performing on Saturday. In addition Dutch rock band, Di-Rect and American jazz-fusion quartet, Yellow Jackets will be rocking the stage for all the CSJF lovers.
