The culinary team of the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino is preparing a veritable Thanksgiving feast, to be held at the Sunset Grille Restaurant from 5:30pm to 10:30pm on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018, Thanksgiving Day.
Dinner will be served in an elegant family-atmosphere, with plentiful and tasty offerings, all equally fresh and tempting!
The special menu takes off with Pumpkin Soup, Caribbean Lobster, Crispy Pancetta and Fresh Thyme or Signature Martini Salad with Chopped Romaine Lettuce, Hearts of Palm, Sliced Egg, Tomatoes, Blue Cheese, Bacon, Sweet Pepper, Creamy Ranch Dressing, served ‘Shaken not Stirred.’
The main course selection includes Roasted Vermont Turkey, Sausage Sage Stuffing with Turkey Gravy, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Baby Vegetables OR Grilled Salmon with Dill Beurre Blanc, Forbidden Rice, Charred Brussels Sprouts and Bacon.
For dessert, a memorable Thanksgiving Trio, Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake with Spiced Chantilly Crème, Old Fashioned Apple Pie and Southern Pecan Pie.
The Sunset Grille will be offering a selection of two white wine pairings that evening: Kendall Jackson, $49, Vitner’s Reserve, Oaked Chardonnay, CA, 2016, 91 points by Wine Enthusiast or Tormaresca, Antinori, Unoaked Chardonnay, IT, 2016, $42, 87 points by Wine Enthusiast.
The suggested red wine pairings include Hob Nob Pinot Noir, Pays d’Oc, FR, 2016, $49, 84 points by Wine Spectator or Josh Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon, California, 2016, $45, 92 points by Wine Enthusiast.
