Treat Him to a Great Meal

Mmm mm, food… how could you go wrong with this tactic? With so many delicious and drool-worthy dining options in Aruba, from brunch to dinner, you are sure to win Dad’s heart!

There’s no better way to celebrate Dad than with a delicious meal, and this year’s Father’s Day dining specials are sure to impress.

Sunset Grille at Hilton Aruba is serving up a bold 40 oz tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes, spinach, tiramisu, and an Old Fashioned cocktail to round out the experience.

Prefer something with a local twist? Driftwood Restaurant in downtown Oranjestad is offering a three-course seafood or steak menu, including appetizer, main, and dessert, for just $40 or AWG 70 per person.

For a more casual vibe, Red Fish Aruba is serving up a tasty 3-course seafood-inspired meal, topped off with a Father’s Day cupcake—all for just AWG 42 ($24). It’s a great pick for relaxed family dining.

For sports-loving dads, head over to Double Down Sports Bar & Grill at Eagle Aruba Resort, where Father’s Day turns into an all-day celebration. On Sunday, June 16, they’re serving up a juicy Eagle Burger and a cold Balashi draft for just AWG 35 (USD 20). With live coverage of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, 24 Hours of Le Mans, US Open Golf, and the NBA Finals, it’s the ultimate mix of food, drinks, and non-stop sports action.

Cigar Tasting & Local Drinks

For dads who enjoy a good cigar, consider a visit to Humidor Aruba in Palm Beach or Ruba Reggae Cigars and Cocktail Lounge downtown. Pair a fine cigar with a craft cocktail, or enjoy Aruba’s local beers—Balashi and Chill—at your favorite beach bar while watching the sunset.

Explore Aruba’s Wild Side

If your dad loves the outdoors, head to Arikok National Park for a day of hiking, cave exploring, and off-road adventures. Entry is just $10, and guided tours are available.

Enjoy scenic views from the top of the California Lighthouse, or cool off while exploring the Fontein and Guadirikiri Caves, two unique natural attractions filled with stories and island history.

There are plenty of natural sites and attractions (caves, gold ruins, wild beaches, hiking trails, natural pools, and more) on the wild east coast of the island. It is sure to leave you fascinated by just how different it is from the other side of the island, which is home to the majority of our island’s resorts and calmer beaches. If you want to join a guided island tour, browse the following.

Cheers to Dad

Your Dad is going to need something refreshing to wash down all that food, am I right? Try one of these happy hour spots or beach bars.

To say every dad loves beer would be quite stereotypical. Perhaps your dad is more of a wine lover instead? Well, Kukoo Kukuku has something for him too! How does a Wine on Down the Road Tour sound?

Party when the sun goes down

Some Dads just want to have fun. You know, like sing his heart out on the microphone or cut a rug on the dance floor… does that sound like your dad? If so, tonight is the night – don’t be embarrassed, embrace his fun side and allow him to be the star of the show.

There is so much fun to be had in Aruba when the sun goes down:

Head Out on the Water

Just a man, the sea, and his fishing rod. Sometimes the simplest things in life can bring the greatest joy. If he’s up for some company, book a fishing charter for two for the day. Nothing beats some quality time out on the water, especially if that water is the mesmerizing Caribbean Sea! Don’t forget to pack a cooler filled with snacks and cold ones for the day.

If you end up catching a big one… bring it to Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant downtown by the marina, and they will prepare it exactly to your liking!  Now that is a true sea-to-table dinner… yum! You can also go fishing with Driftwood Charters and then have them prepare your fresh catch that evening at their restaurant, Driftwood Restaurant.

Check out Aruba’s fishing charters.

Dads needs pampering too

Give dad the rest, relaxation, and pampering he deserves and probably oh-so-desperately needs! Whether he could use a massage for that backache, a facial to freshen and illuminate his skin, or a mani and pedi to get beach-ready (yes, dads need to get beach-ready too!) view spas in Aruba here.

If you find none of these ideas speak to you or that special dad in your life… then grab your towel, pack a cooler, and head to the beach! There is nothing better than a day at the beach! If your Dad loves to stay active check out these fun water activities to try.
