The 53rd edition of the Miss International Beauty pageant will take place on December 17th in Tokyo, Japan. The Miss International Beauty Pageant promotes cultural exchanges, world peace and international contributions through charities for the underprivileged children all around the world. The aim of this festival is for each delegate to compete with not only their external beauty but also to enrich their inner beauty by having international exchanges and social action plans. Aruban representative Irailda Croes currently holds the 12 position in the voting among 83 candidates. 

The delegation of Aruba Bodyboard just recently competed in the “2013 Encanto Pro” at Playa Jobos, Puerto Rico. Aruba had four competitors in the Open Division, two in the Dropknee Division and one in the Womens Division.

Aruba is the last leg of a six-island tour of the Dutch Caribbean territories by HRM King Willem-Alexander and his wife, Queen Maxima; this is also the first time since 1890 that both a king and queen have sat on the throne.
