Diane and her husband Ronnie fell in love with Aruba during their first trip to the island in 2002 and after that first trip they visited the island several times more. When Diane heard about the VisitAruba Video Contest and the chance of winning a trip to Aruba, she jumped into this adventure and created a video to participate. She was of course delighted to hear that her video entry for which she used many pictures and video clips from her previous trips to Aruba, won second prize.
The second prize included a week stay at Paradera Park Apartments, 3 day car rental offered by Budget Rent a Car, dinners at Marandi, Cuba’s Cookin’ and 7 West Restaurant, a South Side Lunch Cruise offered by Tranquilo Charters, a Dinner and Barhopping tour offered by Kukoo Kunuku Party Bus and a Aruba Segway Tour offered by Segway Tours Aruba.
Diane sent us an email to tell us about her wonderful vacation and shared some of her pictures.
Their stay at Paradera Park apartments left a very positive impression with their peaceful tropical surroundings, beautiful gardens and Diane and Ronnie felt very welcome thanks to their ever-gracious host, Debby de Weerd.
Dinner at Marandi, Aruba’s Sunset Restaurant, was magical; the food was to die for and the view of the Laguna Bay was breathtaking. They also enjoyed an authentic Cuban meal at Cuba’s Cookin.
Tranquilo Charters was fabulous. Their host, Anthony, made them feel very welcome, was a great cook and Ronnie got the biggest kick out of Buster the dog.
Kukoo Kunuku party bus offered a fun-filled night of Dinner and Barhopping where the dinner location inspired and the bus crew entertained.
