Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts receives Green Globe Certification for 14th consecutive year

As a pioneer in the green movement in hospitality for the past 25 years, Bucuti has set the benchmark in sustainable tourism including being one of the first resorts in the Caribbean to be officially Green Globe certified and the first in the Americas and the Caribbean to be certified ISO 14001.  The resort staff and guests strive to effectively reduce their environmental impact, through a number of environmental initiatives including: the installation of solar panels, utilizing recycled paper only, using biodegradable containers for beverages and food.

Aruba’s Minister of Tourism visited Boardwalk Hotel in Palm Beach

Aruba’s minister of Tourism Otmar Oduber visited Aruba Boardwalk Hotel for the first time after it switched owners and the property got completely renovated. After the sale was completed, twin sisters Kimberly and Stephanie decided to renovate the property to give it a Coastal-Living vive, which translated in lots of bright colors. The minister was pleasantly surprised with the changes the hotel underwent.

Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival new venue setup at Renaissance Marketplace Aruba will start today

Due to the fact the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival has grown over the years, this year’s festival needed to move to a new venue and the organization of the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival picked the Renaissance Marketplace for the 7th edition of the festival. In order to have everything in place to host performances of internationals artist like El Gran Combo, Willy Garcia (from Grupo Niche ), Giovanca and Levi Silvanie, setup of the festival venue started early this year. The crew will work the whole week to setup the three stages, food court, art gallery and will make sure to be ready before October 4th, the first day of the Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival 2013 edition.
