The Aruba Heart Foundation is a volunteer-based health organization, which is nonprofit making and non-governmental and thoroughly concerned with the promotion of health well-being.
Description
All AHF's activities and programs are geared towards achieving the following goals:
- Prevention of heart and cardiovascular disease.
- Give adequate information to prevent and or to control cardiovascular disease.
- Promote the interest in patient with cardiovascular disease.
The way we try to achieve this is thru health drive where everyone can get information right away about their results and how to manage it. Also by giving lectures and/or Symposium to encourage patients, caregivers and the community about the importance of preventive medicine and the awareness in managing heart problems.
AHF feels that up-to-date information about heart disease is essential and will contribute proactively to minimize or even stop the growth of cardiovascular disease.
Objectives of this foundation are to work towards awareness and prevention of heart disease for the public in general.
