Former model and famed Venezuelan designer Eva Zissu has found a home and friends on Aruba, as well as an enthusiastic market for her fresh and fashionable resort wear. Paseo Herencia Shopping Mall in Palm Beach is proud to host three new shops featuring her inspired designs, with an array of clothing and accessories to appeal to all ages.

Aside from her dedicated shop “Tunics,” with sheer, long tops (as you would expect) and a complete stock of her popular new sandals inspired by the island, called “Arubianas,” she has partnered with her fellow fashionista, Morella Salazar, in the new YOLO Store.

YOLO stands for You Only Live Once; and their special line of kicky, colorful casual wear is available only on Aruba. They have opened their store with their first collection, themed “Peace. Love & Happiness.” Other themed collections will follow with each season. Aside from the bright, youthful shorts, and stylish, feminine tees, the shop has a diverse collection of resort and sport wear from tailored to delightfully frivolous. It has appeal for all ages.

Eva’s charming tunics, “blend an original sense of elegance, playfulness and freedom.” She has been inspired in her choice of colors and textures by India’s most spiritual places, and all feature stunning detailing in the beading or embroidery work.

They are perfectly accessorized by the colorful collection of purses from the “BagIt” kiosk she has opened with her friend Morella, as making a fashion statement does not stop with the principal dress, but must carried through to the smallest, (or in this case largest) detail, to pull it off as a whole.

This brilliantly-hued bags work perfectly with the styles featured in Tunics and YOLO. A complete wardrobe, eminently suited to Aruba’s colorful, tropical environment can be found in one easy shopping stop at Paseo Herencia Mall in Palm Beach.
