On Friday, November 14, Aruba Aloe held the official grand opening of its new Aruba Aloe boutique on Main Street (Caya Betico Croes 78) in downtown Oranjestad.  The opening event was attended by honorary guests including Prime Minister Mike Eman, Minister of Tourism Otmar Oduber, and tourism industry professionals.

Managing director Joshua Posner pointed out that Aruba Aloe’s new store openings are usually much smaller affairs, but this one is particularly special because it also celebrates Aruba’s newly enhanced Main Street.  “We are proud and excited to have a new store on Main Street. We feel that the changes that have been made to Main Street to upgrade it have made it a true gem of the Caribbean. I have traveled throughout the Caribbean, and our Main Street has the potential to be one of the most unique and exciting shopping destinations in the Caribbean,” expressed Posner.

Minister Eman also addressed the gathering, giving praise to Aruba Aloe’s pioneership.  He pointed out that while Aruba Aloe has always been an industry leader and risk taker, its recent move to Main Street during the early stages of the area’s rejuvenation exemplifies the company’s pioneership once again.  He is proud to see businesses such as Aruba Aloe capitalizing on the vision that was conceived for Main Street and concluded with, “Today is a great day for Aruba.”

Minister Eman’s address was followed by a ribbon cutting, marking the official opening of Aruba Aloe’s 15th retail store.  Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and steelpan music provided by local musician Lee Connor were enjoyed by the guests as they perused the new boutique.  Beautifully and refreshingly appointed, the boutique features locally made furniture from Rustica Designs.  Since its soft opening, the store has been exceeding the company’s expectations in terms of performance.

Aruba Aloe is known both locally and abroad for its original collections of body and suncare products made from the finest ingredients, including 100% pure Aloe Vera from Aruba.  The company has exciting plans for 2015, including new product launches and the introduction of its products for sale in Europe.  As always, Aruba Aloe invites both locals and tourists to visit its factory in Hato to take a tour and learn more about the rich history of aloe cultivation and processing on Aruba.
