Nothing is more adorable than kids in costume! Multiply this by the thousands and add some fantastic floats and elegant roadpieces and you have a most enjoyable Carnival 59 Children’s Parade. Oranjestad streets were filled with music, glitter and amazing displays of carnival artistry this past Sunday, February 3.
1,335 gloriously costumed kids and seven bands wended their way through town. Participating groups included: Little Groovers, Deja & Jolly Kids, Don Flip Carnival Group, Marlins Carnival Group, No Futuro and T.O.B. Kids. All groups did a spectacular job on costumes and same great floats. This was undoubtedly one of the most impressive parades of this Carnival season so far.
