Santa Rosa to plant more than 10.000 trees across Aruba during 2014

Santa Rosa has embarked on a beautiful project designed to provide the community with fresh fruits for the enjoyment of our island.

The project was initiated back in 2012 when 100 fruit trees were planted at the residences in Cura Cabai. During the year Santa Rosa delivered different trees to various schools, children and senior centers, foundations and planted some 1000 fruit trees in all.

In 2013 10,000 trees were also planted at Fatima College and Linear Park where 200 fruit trees were planted such as mango trees, sea grapes, Breba, Kibrahacha, Mahok, and many others.

For 2014 the project will continue. There are many places on their long list to receive fruit trees. YMCA San Nicolas and Monumentenzorg, school Kudawecha is on the list. Centro Colorado will also get their share of trees.

Santa Rosa not only provides the trees, but also helps in the planning of the infrastructure and provides advice for the best possible plantation of these trees. Undoubtedly, a tremendous and beautiful project from which we will soon see and reap the fruits of.
