As host for the Latin American games this year, Aruba has the privilege of having two teams in the championship, Team Aruba I and Team Aruba II. Last year Aruba won the Junior League Latin American games and consequently represented Latin America at the World Series.

Up to today Team Aruba I is doing a tremendous job and demonstrating that we can do it! In their 4 games played team Aruba I is unbeaten and are in the top position in their pool (B). Their spot in the finals are already secured!

Team Aruba II, which is a selection invited to the tourney due to the fact that Aruba is hosting the championship, did not reach the finals but put up a tremendous fight along the way.

Aruba I scores:
Aruba 3, El Salvador 0
Aruba 4, Mexico 3
Aruba 3, Panama 2
Aruba 2, Costa Rica 1

Aruba’s last game was on July 26th at 7 p.m at the Nadi Croes/Crismo Angela Stadium, and the whole community was invited to come out and support our young ball players and animate them on their way to the finals once again!
