Have a taste of Aruban culture tonight

The weekly Bon Bini Festival takes place tonight at the Fort Zoutman in Wilhelminastraat. Bon Bini Festival is the only weekly folkloric event on the island. Come mingle with the locals and enjoy a taste of Aruban culture.

During the festival there will be local food, sweets and traditional local arts and crafts on sale.

This week featured artists:
Tipico “Tico y Sus Estrellas”, solist: “Robert Maduro”, Tingilingi Box (cylinder-box) “Nos Cultura” and dance group “The Super Dancers”.

Arubus has regular buses from all hotels areas to Oranjestad Central Terminal, which is only a short walk from Fort Zoutman. Round trip bus fare is $2.30. The festival is from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Entrance fee is $5.

So all of Aruba’s visitors, friends and family are invited to come and experience Aruba through music, dance and costume.

The Bon Bini Festival is the only folkloric show on the island.

“It is vacation time, so there is no excuse for not visiting us! See you there,” says a spokesperson for the event.
