Tripadvisor Names Bucuti and Tara Beach Resort in Top 10 Hotels in The World and Number 1 in Caribbean

EAGLE BEACH, Aruba – January 21, 2016 – TripAdvisor® announced the winners of the 2016 Travelers’ Choice Awards identifying the world’s best properties. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort made its debut on the highly coveted list of the Top 10 Hotels in the World. Bucuti also repeated its performance this year by taking the top honors as the No. 1 Hotel in the Caribbean.

Adding to the honors, Bucuti’s signature hospitality was recognized as No. 3 for the Top 25 Hotels for Service in the Caribbean.

The winners were based on millions of reviews submitted in a single year from TripAdvisor users worldwide. Now in its 14th year, the Travelers’ Choice awards have recognized more than 7,000 properties around the world, with lists covering 97 countries and eight regions worldwide. The hallmarks of Travelers’ Choice winners are remarkable service, quality and value.

These three TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards for 2016 are the latest recognitions for Bucuti. In addition to being highlighted for its service excellence, the resort is equally recognized for its efforts in sustainability and holds the most eco-certifications in the region. Most recently, Bucuti received  LEED® Silver certification, the only Caribbean property to hold the designation for its achievements in running an environmentally safe operation in compliance with the high standards of the certification.
