PALM BEACH – Last week, the Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba held an all-associates general meeting in the Grand Palm Beach Ballroom. The theme of the session was “Hunto nos ta Prospera, Together we Thrive.”
With the island on the cusp of the next high season, teamwork is more essential than ever, and although each department has its own list of responsibilities, management wanted to exemplify the importance of all departments working together, and how individual associates make an impact in not only their own department, but can also impact the efficiency and success of other departments. During last week’s session, representatives from various departments—from Security and Housekeeping to Food & Beverage and Banquets—held demos and informational mini seminars for fellow associates on the basics of their responsibilities and how their departments function.
The session also including team-building games, snacks, and cake for all.
