Three new members are joining Aruba Marriott’s culinary team

The Aruba Marriott proudly welcomes Teddy Bouroncle, Miguel Garcia and Romeo Penacino to the culinary team. In the position of Executive Chef, Teddy will oversee the overall success of the daily kitchen operations for the three Marriott properties, as well as supervise all kitchen areas to ensure that a consistent, high quality and innovative product is delivered. Miguel and Romeo will be supporting Teddy.

Teddy Bouroncle started his career at the Adams Mark Hotels & Resorts in United States in 2002 as Chef de Partie. Over the last ten years he worked in various culinary positions from Sous Chef, Gastronomic Adviser to Chef, Food & Beverage Manager and Corporate Chef at a number of renowned hotels and restaurants in United States, Peru, Colombia, Spain and Singapore. Prior to the Aruba Marriott, Teddy held the position of Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director at the JW Marriott Cusco in Peru.

Miguel Garcia offers over twenty three years of experience in the food service industry and holds extensive knowledge of restaurant operations. Miguel started his career at Hyatt Cerromar in Puerto Rico as Chef de Partie in 1991 and held the positions of Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Food & Beverage & Culinary Director of Operations and Food & Beverage & Kitchen Director.

Miguel worked as Kitchen & Food & Beverages Director at the Occidental Grand Aruba before joining the Aruba Marriott team.

Romeo Penacino held the position of Restaurant Supervisor and Restaurant Chef at Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort for five years before moving to Aruba. Romeo started his career as Line Cook at the Hotel Melia in Argentina in 2000 and gained valuable work experience as Kitchen Sous Chef, Second Cook Line, Jr. Sous Chef and Restaurant Supervisor in Argentina and Cayman Islands throughout the years.
