The Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives continue to stand out as premier resorts for 2019, as Travelife awarded Divi & Tamarijn Aruba the annual Gold Certificate of Excellence and the Divi Aruba All Inclusive won an Islands All Inclusive Award.
“We are extremely proud that the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba continue to receive top honors from prestigious travel companies, particularly those that recognize our work in the area of sustainable tourism,‘” commented Alex Nieuwmeyer, Managing Director, Divi Resorts Aruba. “Receiving these distinctions is a testament to our commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience that complies with international standards of social and environmental responsibility that we strive to meet and exceed.”
The resorts were named the recipients of the Travelife award at the end of a comprehensive sustainable audit conducted here by a visiting TUI Travelife auditor. At the end of her visit, the auditor lauded the environmental efforts and achievements obtained to date as well as the fact that the resorts complied with the requirements of 99 strict sustainability criteria. Travelife is a fair and affordable system which helps tour operators and travel agencies manage and improve social and environmental impacts, for complying with all old and new sustainability criteria.
The Divi Aruba was selected by editors of Islands for the All-Inclusive Award, earning the Editor’s Choice designation as Best for Couples for its spectacular mile-long beach, generous amenities, updated room décor, numerous dining options, adjacent casino and golf course and more. Islands is part of the Bonnier Travel Group, a division of Bonnier Corporation. Bonnier Corp. is one of the largest consumer-publishing groups in America, with more than 30 special-interest magazines, multimedia extensions, digital properties, books and events.
