The Housekeeping and Maintenance team of Boardwalk Small Hotel in Palm Beach, a total of eight staff members, received warm words of appreciation this week from the hotels’ management. The team received brand new shirts as a special recognition for their loyal service and meticulous cleaning skills.“We are very proud of this team of professionals and are constantly receiving 5 stars on TripAdvisor for cleanliness, which is a huge accomplishment. Also, we appreciate that this team is so adaptive to constant changes, in a joined effort to better their overall performance. On top of that, three members of our housekeeping and maintenance staff, Claudia, Veronica and Fernando, all graduated for their English exam after taking weeks of classes in their own time”, said Kimberly Rooijakkers on behalf of management. “This team also makes great efforts to dress to the tee and are true additions to the overall professional experience on our small property.”
All staff members changed into their new shirts and received goody bags by means of a cooler beach bag, filled with beauty products. On Saturday the entire team with their partners and friends joined on the Kukoo kunuku Bus with stops at several bars on island. Concluding the fun-filled Housekeeping Week celebrations, all staff members planted a seed for a new tree, to be placed in the new garden of Boardwalk’s future extension. An additional 32 casitas are scheduled to open in 2017.
