PALM BEACH – Recently, the associates within the food and beverage department at the Westin Resort & Casino Aruba teamed up for a bit of outdoor housekeeping. The cleanup effort was part of AHATA’s (Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association) Sponsor-a-Mile program, where island resorts volunteer to help keep the island clean.
The Westin covered the area known as the Bubali Bird Sanctuary, a protected wetlands area adjacent to the resort that is home to many local and migratory bird species and a favorite for bird watchers.
