Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino received a group of US journalists visiting the island

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino recently invited a group of five US journalists to visit Aruba to explore some fun island “adult playtime”.

The press trip initiated with a fun class of Beach Tennis by Red Sail Sports at Moomba Beach with professional Beach Tennis player Cado de Lannoy, where the journalists learned the basics of Beach Tennis while playing a competition with each other at the end. Afterwards, it was time for some fun in the sun on the Afternoon Delight Catamaran Sail. Snorkeling at the Antilla shipwreck and Arashi Beach was sure some great highlight of the press trip. At night the group enjoyed an exquisite dinner in bed at the Screaming Eagle opting for the Carte Blanche menu which consists of original culinary dishes prepared by Chef Erwin Hüsken. When visiting Screaming Eagle, make sure to ask for the deep fried brie cheese with bleu berry compote. It is an absolute delight.

On the second day, the journalists were welcomed to the Aruba Marriott Resort’s governor’s suite, where a special brunch with an amazing view was arranged for the group to enjoy while gathering with Tom Calame (Aruba Marriott’s Complex GM), Matt Knights (Hotel Manager) and Carolina Voullieme (Director of Sales & Marketing). The midday was reserved to indulge in relaxing spa treatments at Mandara Spa followed by a tranquil paddle yoga lesson by Vela Aruba’s talented yoga instructor. In the evening, the group joined for dinner at Simply Fish located at the Aruba Marriott Resort for a wonderful farewell dinner offering the journalists the unique Aruban ‘dinner on the beach’ experience.

The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino would like to thank all tour operators and participating restaurants, as well as Mandara Spa and Vela Aruba for their kind cooperation, hospitality and for making this press trip a memorable one.
