It is with great pride that the Aruba Marriott congratulates Matt Knights with accepting the position of opening General Manager for the completely renovated Renaissance Jaragua in Santo Domingo.
Matt joined the Aruba Marriott in 2013 as the Hotel Manager for the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino and has shown great leadership in improving the hotel’s performance in all areas of operation. His performance program “Wiggy” was tremendously successful and it was his commitment to the program that translated in consistent improvements throughout.
“While we are extremely sad to see him go, we believe that this new role is very well deserved and very well fitted for Matt. We congratulate Matt, Sheila his wife and their three beautiful children with this new adventure and wish them the best of luck in Santo Domingo” said Complex General Manager Tom Calame.
To thank Matt for a job well done, a farewell party was organized on his last work day, where management and staff took the opportunity to show their gratitude by sharing kind words and memorable moments through thoughtful speeches and a carefully put together photo collage and video.
