Every Thursday night in San Nicolas, the main streets of Aruba’s old refinery town that locals call Sunrise City come to life in a spectacular fashion with a mini-carnival, Carubbian Festival!
It’s a culture and heritage extravaganza featuring live music concerts, dancing shows, and even a big colorful parade finale where visitors are encouraged to fully participate.
There are also arts and crafts stalls and food and drink kiosks that include local specialties set up for the occasion. There are activities planned for children as well.
The last Carubbian Festival for 2017 was held on November 30th. Please be advised that the 2018 Festival official dates are pending for confirmation. As soon as we receive more info, we will update Aruba's Carubbian Festival event.
