Ingredients

Tentalaria

  • 1 lb. cashew nut
  • 1 lb. sugar
  • 2 1/2 cup of water
  • Almond essence

Directions

Add 1 lbs cashew nut in a blender and make a fine puree. Bring sugar to water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat when the mixture turns beige in color. Slowly add blended cashew to the mixture while stirring with an iron spoon. Once the cashew is mixed in, beat the mixture with a spatula until it is firm (it should be ready when you lift the spatula and it forms a point). Turn off the heat. Pour the mixture into small sizes on a wet wooden plate and garnish with a halve cashew nut, rasped coconut, or sprinkles. Cool and serve.
