- 1/2 pound salted meat
- 1 pound salted pigtail
- 1/2 pound goat meat or beef
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 onion sliced
- 1/2 bell pepper sliced
- 1 tomato sliced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large meat bouillon
- pepper, cumin powder, nutmeg, Maggi
- 1-1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 large potatoes peeled and diced
Leave the salted meat and pigtail overnight in water. The next day drain the water and cut the meat and tail into small pieces. Add clean water and let it cook until they are tender. Put the goat meat or beef in water with the broth and let it simmer until the meat or beef is soft. In a large pan heat margarine and fry the onion, peppers, tomatoes and garlic for a few minutes. Add bouillon, pepper, cumin powder and nutmeg, stir well. Add meat and mix. Wash the cabbage leaves very good, slice it into thin layers and add the last ingredients; potato dices, soy sauce and tomato paste to it. Add a little water because when the cabbage cooks it frees a good amount of water. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir all together with a wooden spoon, cover the pan and lower the fire to simmer until the cabbage and potatoes are cooked.
