Star Gerren

This wreck is located about 2 miles west of the Holiday Inn Resort and Hadicurari beach area in Palm Beach. This coaster was built in Germany in 1964, and is 225 feet long. The wreck was sunk on purpose to become an artificial reef and prime dive wreck site at a depth of 60-70 ft. She accidentally landed on her side, showing off her impressive propeller. Holes have been made in the ship to allow easy entry and exit of the wreck. Surrounding the wreck is a sandy bottom, expect to see ample quantities of sting grays, small mouth grunts, barracuda, and french angel fish.
