The Aruba International Regatta returns for its 16th edition from July 10–12, 2026, transforming Surfside Beach into a lively hub of sailing, culture, and community. This premier Caribbean maritime festival brings together elite competitors, youth sailors, and spectators at the colorful Regatta Village, all united by the theme “Sailing Sport, People, and Nature.”
On the water, the regatta showcases an exciting mix of racing classes—from high-performance yachts and multihulls to Sunfish, windsurfers, and the fast-growing wingfoil category—offering thrilling action for both seasoned sailors and curious onlookers.
What makes the Aruba International Regatta special:
-
Maritime Heritage
Experience the beloved Miniatuurboat races, where handcrafted model boats take center stage. Organized in collaboration with Stichting Rancho, these races celebrate and preserve Aruba’s seafaring traditions.
-
Sustainability at Heart
As a proudly eco-conscious event, the regatta features marine conservation workshops and awards distinctive trophies made from recycled plastic and repurposed wood.
-
Island Vibes Ashore
The Regatta Village comes alive with live performances by local reggae favorites like The Originalz, relaxed beach parties, and a variety of authentic Aruban flavors & cuisine.
-
Youth & Community Engagement
With dedicated platforms for youth classes such as Optimist and SailQube, the regatta inspires the next generation of sailors while promoting teamwork and environmental awareness through sport.
Whether you’re racing on the water or soaking up the atmosphere on shore, the Aruba International Regatta promises a memorable weekend where competition, culture, and Caribbean spirit come together.
