T.H. Palm & Company recently hosted their 2nd Annual Bourbon, Beer & Bites Evening, celebrating Father’s Day with their local male clients. Party-goers sampled a selection of imported and local craft beers and bourbons by Bourbon Express, accompanied by appetizers prepared by Chef Bas Kuurstra and his team from Rent a Chef Aruba. There was even a lucky winner of an Awg. 300 shopping spree!

The creative squad behind “Korteweg”, Aruba’s monthly cultural festival, was charged with creating a temporary pop-up bar made out of recycled wooden pallets to install at Renaissance Island’s Flamingo Beach. Local artist Romelinda ‘Kala’ Maldonado was contacted to design and paint this bar. Kala is a young local craftswoman with a passion for painting, photography and local handmade souvenirs. Renaissance Island now has an authentic Aruba-inspired beach bar made by our own Aruban artist.
