On December 17th Aruba welcomed its one-millionth stay-over visitor. The lucky one-millionth passenger arrived onboard of the JetBlue flight from New York and was welcomed with an official water salute, carnival dancers and steelband performers.

Guest of the Radisson Aruba Resort donates twenty six hearing aids

Several resort employees received a pleasant surprise this year. Cory Soal, a hearing healthcare practitioner in the Unites States, was offered a complimentary vacation by the Radisson’s GM in return for hearing aid expertise for one of the resorts employees. A year later Cory returned to Aruba with twenty six hearing aids instead of just one.

Automated Passport Control kiosks installed at Aruba Airport

The Aruba Airport Authority announced that several automated passport control kiosks are installed in order to streamline the customs process for travelers to the United States. The purchase of the kiosk is the first step in a project to streamline the passenger flow at the airport.
