Description
San Nicolas, also known as Sunrise City, is the second largest city of Aruba and is named after a man, Nicolaas van der Biest, who owned a big parcel of land in that area. As you enter downtown San Nicolas, you are welcomed with colorful vibrant art murals decorating the streets. Every year San Nicolas hosts the popular Aruba Art Fair. It is also home to the famous hangout "Charlies Bar". That bar has become an attraction due to all the discoveries and souvenirs that were put on the wall.

Attraction Tips
There is plenty of street art and large art murals to enjoy so don't forget your good camera! Avoid the hottest time of day and visit during morning hours or early evening when the sun is going down and don't forget to bring water, wear sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
