Description
Started its operations in 1996 with a fleet of 50 new vehicles. Initially Explore Car Rental operated under its own name and it was very successful in the tourist segment. On November 2003 Explore Car Rental moved to its new facility situated at Schotlandstraat 85. This facility is conveniently located close the island's hotel highrise area, and minutes away from downtown Oranjestad and the cruise ship terminal. As part of the franchise chain of AVIS International, all its sales and reservations transactions are handled by the Wizard global reservation system. AVIS Rent a Car, has the most modern fleet of all car rentals on the island.
