My husband and I had a wonderful trip to Aruba. We stayed at Sunset Beach Studios Boca Catalina location. We absolutely love the place. If you want privacy away from the busy and noisy high rise hotels this is the place to be. The staff and cleaning crew are amazing in assisting you with any needs. In our first trip to Aruba the owner took my husband and I to the grocery store and waited until we purchased what we needed. I say that's EXCELLENT customer service!!!!!!!

Me and my husband was in Aruba and stayed at the Bushiri back in March of 2001 and it was the greatest time we ever had and we meet wonderful people there and my friend from the USA lives and works at the Bahia Club. I would still to this day highly recomend this Island to everyone. Great, wonderful and alot fun, no wonder they call one happy Island!! I will come back again an again. And will bring friends and family also, so they can enjoy what we enjoyed on the wonderful place. Thank You!

After a nice walk at one of the most beautiful beaches we sat down at a nice and romantic place called moomba beach, the restaurant was one of the greatest places we have eaten on the island, the cute hostess give us a nice seat at the beach ,and we enjoyed the sunset, together with good food we had a night to remember, realy a place to visit again. justin&lauren davidson Texas U.S.A

After having a nice walk down one of the beautifull beaches of aruba, we also had dinner on one of them, this was the most romantic spot i had ever seen...after we where nicely seated by the cute hostess we had e great dinner with all the ingredients required, the place we went is called Moomba Beach and it was located between the marriott and the holliday inn...REALY A PLACE TO GO when you are in a romantic mood!! definitely a place to come back.

We went horseback riding at the Gold Mine Ranch - excellent! Our host, Johnny picked us up and gave us a nice tour and great local info. The horses were kind and gentle and were matched to our abilities, and our tour guide Candy tailored the ride to suit us. A gret experience, and we highly recommend it!

I want to let people know that Aruba is truely one happy island! I have been there a couple of times and it is safe and it is beautiful. And if a bit of negative media is questioning your potential decision to come to Aruba, then turn off your TV and pack your bags. You are going to miss out on a gem of the Caribbean of you don't visit Aruba in your lifetime. When you get there rent a jeep and tour the island, you can't get lost because there water on all four sides! Talk to the Aruban, they are sweeties. If you have any questions on where to go, what to do, where to eat, sleep and play, email me. I have many suggestions!

My husband and I just returned from Aruba this week. We found a plain gold wedding band at Baby Beach on or around Feb. 22nd and would like to return it to its rightful owner. There is an inscription inside the ring that should help identify whether or not its the ring you're looking for. Please email me with any questions. Thanks so much.

I am traveling to Aruba for the first time this Spring. I am interested in finding out if there are any ferries or boats going to nearby islands or to a town on the So. American Coast. Isn't Aruba just 12 miles off the coast of So. America? I would really appreciate hearing from an Aruban. Thanks...Suzanne

My husband and I went to Aruba for our honeymoon in January 2006. This was our first travel out of the U.S. Aruba was absolutely beautiful! We stayed at the Machebo Beach Resort and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is marvelous. We went downtown for shopping and went on the Submarine tour which we enjoyed very much.We definitely will be returning to Aruba and will be staying at the Manchebo!

Please help me locate my friend and daughter Jacqui. She told me that she was moving to Aruba to Marry John Tromp, she has dual citizenship with Aruba and USA. She told me that she would be working at a Hotel. I would love to get in touch with her, talk to her, or email her. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate all help available.

I would pick Aruba, by far. My aversion to St Thomas is exactly what you consider as a plus, namely the proliferation of American institutions like Wal-Mart, Pizza Hut and the like. Similar to a place like Cancun. Take Miami Beach and put it in the Yucatan Peninsula and voila. If you just can't live without Mickey D's, Burger King and the like, for a week or two, you might as well go to Miami Beach or stay in the US. Though the Aruba landscape may be a bit arid the real beauty exist underwater. Aruba is one of the top destinations in the world for scuba-diving, and so is its sister island Bonaire. Besides, the locals in Aruba are perhaps the most friendly of any Caribbean island I have visited. Most of them speak 4 languages, English, Dutch, Spanish and a local dialect Papamiento. For day trips, Caracas Venezuela is just 15 miles away. I could go on and on, but in short, I would take Aruba over St Thomas any day.
