Wonderful time at Divi-Divi!!

My husband and I went to Aruba to re-new our wedding vows and celebrate our 10th wedding anniversay. We took advantage of the One Cool Honeymoon promotion and it was wonderful. The Divi is a very nice place and to spite what I have heard the rooms are very nice. We stayed in the Casita Room facing the ocean and it had very nice accomodations. We had a king sized bed and the furniture was very nice and the view was amazing. We were literally six steps from the ocean. The sand is the whitest and finest I have ever seen (I travel quite a bit). I found the staff to be polite and friendly. The wine at the open bars leaves something to be desired but if you eat at the Red Parrot or Paparazzi you can order a bottle of good wine (and they have quite a few to choose from). The food at both places was wonderful and the staff was more than friendly. They were very exited about Steve and I renewing our wedding vows and went out of their way to give us big hugs and congratulations after our service!! I used Aruba Weddings for you and they did a very nice job. When we arrived at the Protest Church they had a big table with our names on it and a bottle of champagne and glasses ready for after the service. They provide the flowers, photographer, etc. so I can suggest them to anybody whom might like to either get married or renew your vows!!! This was our first trip to Aruba but will not be our last. We rented a jeep and did some off road traveling and it was wonderful. The water at baby beach is the bluest I have ever seen the weather was fabulous the whole week we were visiting. There is always a slight breeze so you never get too hot. I had heard that it was just terribly windy but I didn't find that to be the case at all. All and all I can say that Aruba is a beautiful place and the people are very kind and polite. I never saw anybody that didn't have a smile on their face when we met them. We are planning on going back and exploring even more of the island (you just can't do it all in one week)!!! We hope this helps anybody considering the Divi Aruba Beach Resort!!! My last suggestion is that I would make reservations right away when you get there for either the Paparrazi or the Red Parot as the reservations fill up fast. We hope that if you are going visit Aruba that you have a wonderful trip!!!!
