We had a wonderful stay at Amsterdam
Manor, very quiet and relaxing. The one bedroom suite was very clean and spacious. We
stayed at sonesta suites last timenand their rooms are more modern and more pretty. The
staff was very accommodating and helpfull. We switched rooms after the first night, the
bedroom windows faced the lobby area. The compex was very pretty and clean.
The Beach was across the street which
was fine (if you stayed in a large complex it would have been a further walk). The beach
and pool were nice, the pool isn't the largest but it was fine.We ate at the restaurant at
the Amsterdam. Dinner was the worse meal we had and breakfast wasn't much better. Lunch
was OK hamburgers and fries we took out. I would stay there again in the future. The bus
stops in front for town or the other hotels which is great if you don't rent a car (2.00
Round Trip).
Our favorite restaurants were La
Trattoria (Calf. Light House) and Tango. Great service and food!!! We went to La Trattoria
twice. Go at the sunset and sit out side (beautiful). Iguana Joes is fun and the food was
good. Everyone raves about Madame Janette's, it's pretty, service is very very slow and
the food was OK.
Don't miss Baby Beach if you snorkle.
Can't wait to go back!
