Took Continental into Aruba
non stop from Newark. Good Flight, no problems. Picked up our jeep from Ruba Rent a Car
(Very Nice Guys, Decent Jeep!) We rented the jeep for a week..we didn't need it for more
than maybe 2 days! We drove to the Marriott and checked in.We thought the Air conditioning
wasn't working that great in the room when we walked in but decided to give it a chance.
We Unpacked and because We were exhausted from our wedding reception the night before,we
went right
to sleep. We woke up maybe 4 hours later and I went to take a shower for dinner. I go to
brush my teeth and there were ANTS CRAWLING EVERYWHERE in the bathroom! All over the Sink
and wall, near my toothbrush! I figured, this just isn't going to work. We went downstairs
told them of the Ants and the Air Conditioning and they changed our room right away with
many Apologies! They even sent someone up to Pack up and move all
of our stuff for us! We got a new room, much better A/C and not a
problem with any bugs at all! Everyone at the Marriott was so nice and helpful to us! From
then on.. It was Paradise!! We went Horseback riding at the Daimari
Ranch and then Went Back for ATVing! Everyone at Daimari were GREAT! We Went
to the Tattoo Party Boat which Was a Great Time! The Best
Thing we did that was Incredible Fun was the Kuku Kunuku Party Bus!!! This Night was the Most Fun
Night we had in Aruba!! It is a
MUST DO!!! We went Snuba and Snorkeling off of the Fun Factory. It was a Great Time and
The Bartenders were Awesome!! We walked a looong way on the Beach from the Marriott down
past some of the other resorts and I must Say In MY opinion ONLY, that the Marriott Beach
had the nicest Beach! We ate at El Gaucho (Great Steaks!) If you are squeamish like
me about seafood, DO NOT ORDER THE GARLIC SHRIMP! I ordered and I just about died when the
shrimp had it Head, Eyes, Legs Etc.. I Am not a seafood eater and that pushed me over the
edge! It was pretty Funny and the waitress and my Husband were both laughing at me when
they saw my face! Iguana Joes had Good Food, Tony Romas had Great Ribs. my Favorite Drink
of all Aruba was the Brown
Lady made at the Waves Bar at the Marriott! 2nd Favorite Clyde the Glide
Mudslide from the Champions Bar in the Ocean Club! The Managers Reception was fun, Pool
Was Beautiful, We were Overall Totally Happy with the Marriott and Aruba Itself! We cant
wait to get back!!!
