Aruba Trip Report - Aruba Marriott

We had a very nice time at the Marriott. However, we were booked
at the Allegro,but due to an error by GoGo Tours we wound up at
the Mrriott. Don't recommend using GoGO. First they lost our
documents and then booked wrong date at hotel. Most people don't
tell you which restaurants are good and which are bad. The worst
one is at the Sunset at the Radisson. House wine is $8.00 a
glass and appetizer and dinner arrive at the same time. Don't go
there! The very best is Madame Jeanette's. We ate outside and
everything was so good. Not expensive at all. Also, the DRiftwood
in town, is great. Canucu and Gasparitos just fair. when you stay
at the Marriott you are stuck there and there are only two
restaurants, Tuscany, much too expensive and the other one not
good.Best to stay at the Radisson or Allegro and you can walk
from hotel to hotel and casinos. Slot machines in Aruba pay
nothing. You put in $10.00 and gone in 2 min. Save your money.
Go down to beach by 8am to get a hut Also at the Marriott there
is only one shop, a drug store. The other shop carries Versace
and there is a Beneton like at home, all clothes for tall skinny
people and overpriced. Nothing downtownneither. Go to other hotel
shops for t-shirts, etc. Hope I've helped someone.
