Would like to encourage anyone thinking about staying at the Holiday Inn to go and enjoy.
We experienced a wonderful all-inclusive week - even though we had 2 days of unsettled
weather. The facilities, staff and food were excellent. We were always reading
reports re food, and I don't think there was one meal we could complain about. We ate
buffets for breakfast, a la carte in the Seabreeze Grill for lunch and had fine dining 4
nights for dinner at the Miramar. Even the themed dinners were above average. We were
lucky to receive very good service everywhere. Our oceanview room was large with a
kingsize bed. If you use the phone to phone home - beware the prices are enormous. We
toured the island with Pelican Tours 1/2 day island tour. We visited the Lighthouse, Chapel,
Natural
Bridge and asked to be let out downtown, where we walked around the shops
abit. Took a taxi back to hotel for $9. The Holiday Inn didn't let us down, everyone was
there to make it enjoyable. Would definitely go back. Some of the other hotels had nicer
pool areas, but our hotel was the friendliest.
