Allegro Beach Resort Trip Report

We just returned from a 7 day stay in Aruba at the Allegro Resort. We were
very apprehensive after reading the traveler's reviews. None of it turned
out to be true! We were breezed through customs with no problems, we landed on time and
were promptly taken to our hotel in less than an hour. Check in was a snap. Everyone was
friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious, with two double beds, a refrigerator,
tv, ironing board, hair dryer and balcony. We were given 6 cards valued at $50.00 apiece
which enabled us to
dine around the island at predetermined restaurants. Nice touch! The three
restaurants in the hotel were good, not five star, but good. The General
Manager of the hotel, Abdel and the Food and Beverage Manager, Mo, were
highly visible throughout our stay, mingling with guests and taking care of
any problems one might have. Our rooms were kept immaculate daily and there were plenty of
towels available. Our stay came to an end all too quickly. I would not hesitate to visit
the Allegro resort again!
